Ren Fest Demo

LONG tiring weekend - but it's all good!

Friday - can't really remember - worked on projects and packed. I did get a phone call about Duke Gyrth and while I was introduced to him only once I do know that there are those in the Kingdom who are going to miss him greatly. My condolences to all those affected by his loss on any level.

Saturday:
*Picked up nephew
*ooh'd and ahh'd over pics of first "Ball"
*played with nearly year old niece
*got spit up on by nearly year old niece
*hugged the fav cousin and took off for demo
*hugs all around when we got there
*Susan toted nephew off immediately to walk through maze
*bad chili dog
*only 5 pearls sewn on due to cold fingers
*lots of talks, planning, and dreaming with Susanna
*watching the boys fight (heavy and rapier)
*PVC pipe marshmellow guns that were apparently all the rage
*hugs on the field
*chats with local Baronage
*Baby about to be born (any word on that?)
*an empty, lonely field when all the pavilions, banners, and garb were packed away
*a "memorable" trip to the grocery store
*steak with a redwine and mushroom sauce that was superb (of course I haven't had a thing yet that Logan has cooked that was not incredible!)
*last minute trips to the store to get items I forgot (eek!)
*lots of laughter and friends
*zombies
*LATE night

Sunday
*getting up late
*lunch at a STRANGE restaurant
*caravan home
*The Incredibles (great movie! a definite fun time!)
* home to more pearl sewing and an EARLY turn in
